QSE Index Loses 18 Points at Beginning of Sunday’s Trading

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 18.05 points, or 0.18%, at the beginning of Sunday's trading session, and thus falling to 10,159 points, compared to last Thursday's closing. Qatar Stock Exchange figures at the beginning of trading showed an increase in performance for the Real Estate and Telecoms by 0.16%, and for the Insurance by 0.10%. Meanwhile, the performance of Consumer Goods and Services remained unchanged at 0.00%. On the other hand, there was negative performance for the Banking and Financial Services by 0.05%, the Transportation by 0.17% and the Industrial by 0.26%. At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,399 transactions worth QR 56.315 millions, distributed over 38.993 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
