Roger Feghali and his navigator, Joseph Matar, headed the Skoda Fabia R5 at the conclusion of the second day of the 41st Lebanese International Rally, organized by the Lebanese Club for Cars and Tourism, under the patronage of President Michel Aoun, with the participation of 29 vehicles.
Qatar's Nasser Saleh al-Attiyah and French partner, Mathieu Bommel, on Ford Fiesta R5 scored second place with a 1 minute, 10 seconds, 6 seconds per second difference, while Lebanese Rodolphe Asmar and partner Ziad Shehab, on Skoda Fabia R5 came in third place with a difference of 4 minutes, 7 seconds from first place.
Feghali scored the best time in the six stages on Saturday, with a chase from Attiyah, at a time when Asmar was pressing to catch them from afar.
The rally is part of the third round of the Middle East Rally Championship this year, with a total of 769 km, out of which 222.86 km are special stages (11 stages).
