Doha: Competitions continued today in the 11th round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour "Longines Hathab," now in its ninth edition. The series is organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation. Several events were held at the federation's main arena, including the Future Riders class at a height of 70 cm, the Open class at 110 cm, and the Gold class at 140 cm for both individual and team categories. According to Qatar News Agency, in the Future Riders event, rider Alia Ahmed Al Khater secured first place with a time of 16.64 seconds aboard "Faheen." Hessa Ali Al Jaber followed in second place with a time of 18.22 seconds on "Violet," while Salman Faisal Al Marri came third, clocking 18.24 seconds on "Dark Dream." In the Open class, Khalid Al Hadi claimed first place with a time of 30.42 seconds on "Cici." Sultan Salem Al Nuaimi finished second with a time of 30.45 seconds on "De Varni," while Abdullah bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani took third place with a t ime of 31.07 seconds aboard "Harlivents." In the junior category within the same class, Abdullah bin Tamim secured first place, followed by Sultan Jassim Al Suwaidi in second on "Kat Blue," and Abdullah Ahmed Al Misifri in third on "Celia." The Gold class at 140 cm saw rider Fawaz Al Rashid take the top spot with a time of 64.75 seconds on "Forets." Gian François Rondeau placed second with 65.73 seconds on "De Roy," while Salman Mohammed Al Emadi came third with a time of 65.85 seconds on "Candle Light." At the team level, Team Wathnan secured first place with a combined time of 134.98 seconds, followed by Al Shaqab in second place with 144.65 seconds. The round will conclude tomorrow (Saturday) with the Diamond class at 150 cm, the Bronze class for individuals and teams at 120 cm, and a Future Riders event at 90 cm. Dressage competitions for preliminary, elementary, and introductory levels will also be held in the indoor arena.
