Hmeimim–based Russian Coordination Center distributed on Wednesday a batch of food aid to citizens of Zama village, Jableh countryside.
Lieutenant commander, Alexei Belochnikov, who is responsible for distributing aid, stated in a statement to SANA’s reporter that this aid consists of various foodstuffs such as sugar, rice, oil, flour, and tea.
In turn, the locals expressed their thanks and appreciation to Russia and the Russian people for the assistance provided, which expresses the depth of friendship between the Syrian and Russian peoples and contributes to alleviating the burdens that the Syrian people suffer from in light of the difficult economic conditions due to the unjust blockade on Syria.
