Military Intelligence seized a stockpile of equipment belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs and arrested (3) defendants in Anbar.
The Directorate stated in a statement: According to accurate intelligence information from the Fifth Division Division, in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the Nineteenth Brigade, and with the participation of a detachment of drones affiliated with the Directorate, and after search, inspection and reconnaissance, a stack of various materiel was seized in the Oud Al-Nasr area of the Rutba District in Anbar Governorate. It contained (20) bombs of different types and caliber, (4) explosive devices containing C4 high explosive, (14) hand grenades, (140) 14.5 mm bullets, (6) BKC tapes, and (16) usable homemade launcher pads, such as explosive devices, various medicines, various materials, and foodstuffs. The engineering effort detachments were responsible for removing the materials and destroying them on site.
The statement added that the military intelligence detachments of the Seventh and Tenth Divisions, in cooperation with the security forces occupying the land, set up court ambushes in Al-Shuhada neighborhood and Al-Suqur checkpoint, which resulted in the arrest of (3) defendants accused of various legal articles in Al-Qaim and Fallujah districts, and they were handed over to the relevant authorities.
