Tawteen Partners with Microsoft for Innovation in Energy Sector

Tawteen and Microsoft have forged a strategic partnership with the aim of accelerating digital transformation in Qatar’s energy sector and achieving the objectives of Tawteen program. Tawteen, the supply chain localization program for the energy sector led by QatarEnergy, aims to support the growth and diversification of Qatar’s economy, attract companies operating in the areas of knowledge and technology, and prepare and qualify local suppliers and enhance their competitiveness to meet the requirements of the State of Qatar’s energy sector.

 

Mr. Engineer Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Mannai, Executive Vice President – Human Capital of QatarEnergy and Ms. Lana Khalaf, Microsoft’s Country Manager for Qatar, signed a memorandum of understanding at QatarEnergy’s headquarters in Doha. That took place in the presence of Mr. Abdulaziz Jassim Mohammed Al-Muftah, Vice President of Industrial Cities at QatarEnergy and Mr. Samer Abu-Ltaif, the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and President of Microsoft Middle East and Africa (MEA).

 

As part of this collaboration, Tawteen and Microsoft will work together to develop skills, accelerate digital transformation and build an innovative partner ecosystem.
