Local sources in the Sinjar district announced that the Nineveh judiciary acquitted one of the displaced Arabs who returned to the Sinjar district a few weeks ago and was arrested on charges of his connection to terrorism.

The sources said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "the judiciary acquitted the associate Iyad Mahfouz, who was arrested while trying to return to his home in Sinjar district, after he was charged with a malicious charge, accusing him of being a collaborator with ISIS."
