The Minister of Oil Assures The Delegation Of Saudi Shura Council Of Keenness To Strengthen And Expand Horizons Of Bilateral Cooperation Relations

Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani received today, Monday, the Shura Council delegation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Qannas, head of the Iraqi-Saudi Friendship Committee in the council, in the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Iraq.

The Minister of Oil, according to a statement by the ministry, welcomed the guest delegation, expressing the depth of the brotherly ties between the two brotherly countries, and the keenness to strengthen and expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation relations, in all fields, including economic, oil and energy.

For its part, the Saudi delegation affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of relations between the two brotherly countries, expressing its hope for cooperation in implementing projects and investment opportunities, and seeking to increase the volume of economic exchange between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Oil, Energy and Natural Resources Committee in the House of Representatives, Haibat Al-Halbousi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Bassem Muhammad Khudair, the Director-General of the Department of Studies and Planning, and the Director-General of the Economic Department.
