Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani congratulated Iraqis and all Muslims today, Sunday, on the occasion of the new Hijri year. Al-Sudani said in his blog post on the 'X' platform: On the occasion of the new Hijri year, we extend our sincere congratulations to our honorable Iraqi people, and to all Muslims around the world. May God Almighty make it a year of mercy, forgiveness and peace for all the brotherly Arab and Islamic peoples. He added: 'On this occasion, we recall the memory of the migration of the Great Messenger (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace), and his endeavor to spread the message of humanity, truth, and support of the oppressed, and we stand again before the values of work and integrity that he instilled in our nation, to renew the pledge to our people, and confirm that we will continue on the path of serving them and protecting their interests.'
