Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, met today, Tuesday, at Baghdad Palace, National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji. According to a presidential statement, the meeting discussed 'a number of issues related to the security aspect, securing borders, and eliminating organized crime gangs, as the President of the Republic stressed the importance of uniting the efforts of the relevant state institutions to work to establish security and stability in all regions of the country.' The President pointed out "the need for everyone to participate in assigning the role of security institutions, to strengthen their national role in preserving the security of the citizen and the state. The meeting also touched on the efforts made to end the suffering of the displaced and their return to their areas of residence." In turn, Al-Araji stressed, 'The National Security Chencellry has charted a clear path and a realistic vision to enhance the role of the security services, and provide them with al l the reasons for success in their tasks.'
