A source at Al-Mundhiriya border port, northeast of Diyala, confirmed that the rate of trade exchange at the port has increased.

The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA: “The rate of trade exchange is increasing with the entry of more than 300 commercial trucks through Al-Mundhiriya port daily, in accordance with the applicable customs procedures,” denying the reports circulating about the decrease in the rate of entry of goods.

He added: “The monitoring and drug detection procedures are progressing successfully and there is no laxity in this file.”
