Brigadier Saqr Salim Al-Muraikhi, Head of the Licensing Affairs Section at the Traffic Department, stated that there is a plan to open three new Fahes stations for technical inspection, and a plate-manufacturing workshop, within the next six months, indicating that the Traffic Department has been connected online to the Insurance, which is currently under testing.
Al-Muraikhi added that the vehicles' plate-manufacturing workshop has been opened in Al-Oqda area, which is currently releasing replacement and damaged plates only. In addition, Al-Wukair station for technical inspection has been inaugurated to serve citizens and residents in Al-Wakra and southern areas, in addition to the northern areas.
Brigadier Al-Muraikhi also announced the opening of Fahes Al-Sheehaniyah station during the current month of January, adding that a petrol station and Fahes will be inaugurated in Mawater city after six months. Moreover, Fahes Al-Mazrouah station will open, in addition to a plate-manufacturing workshop in Al-Wukair, which will also temporary release replacement and damaged plates.
