Saud Hamad Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Hungary, has met with Dr. Zsolt Semjén, Deputy Prime Minister of the Hungarian Government and Leader of the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP), which won the recent parliamentary elections through its alliance with the Fidesz party.
During the meeting, which was held at Buda Castle, the official historical residence of the Hungarian Prime Minister, Al Shamsi congratulated Semjén on winning the recent parliamentary elections, highlighting the growth of UAE-Hungary relations.
He also underscored the UAE leadership's eagerness to expand and strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest and enhance bilateral relations to achieve the aspirations of their leadership and peoples.
For his part, Semjén praised the strong relations and fruitful cooperation between the UAE and Hungary.
Both sides also exchanged views on a number of global political and economic issues of mutual concern and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation, especially in the fields of tourism and trade exchange, and leverage opportunities in both countries.
