Ukrainian Drones Intercepted Over Multiple Russian Regions

Moscow: The Russian authorities announced that dozens of Ukrainian drones were shot down across various Russian regions early this morning. Air defense forces destroyed 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including three reactive types, over the Bryansk region, as reported by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz. “The air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense intercepted and destroyed 26 unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type, including three jets,” Bogomaz stated in a message on his Telegram channel. There were no casualties or injuries resulting from the raids, and relevant authorities continue to inspect the areas, he added.

According to Qatar News Agency, the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, reported that air defense forces shot down 20 unmanned aerial vehicles near Andreapol in the Tver region. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, Governor Gleb Nikitin mentioned that a fire broke out after drone debris fell near an industrial facility, with no reported injuries according to preliminary information.

The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency imposed restrictions on the departure and arrival of civil flights at Kazan Airport, but these were lifted approximately two hours after the announcement. Additionally, restrictions were imposed on aircraft movement at Pulkovo International Airport in St. Petersburg.
