US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, discussed with the African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson Moussa Faki, the latest developments in the situation in Sudan.

US Department of State(DOS) said, in a statement, that Blinken and Moussa Faki discussed cooperation between the United States and the African Union for a permanent cessation of hostilities and an end to the fighting in Sudan.

The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced, on Wednesday, that the clashes that took place between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, from April 15 to 25, resulted in the death of 512 people and the injury of 4,193.
