Doha: The Pakistani army announced Tuesday the killing of ten militants during a security operation carried out by its forces in the northwest of the country. Army forces carried out an operation in the town of Bagh in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and were able to eliminate ten militants, the Pakistani army said in a statement.

According to Qatar News Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has witnessed several security operations in the past period to track down militants who targeted civilians and regular forces, resulting in dozens of deaths.
