117 Displaced People Return From Erbil To Nineveh And Salah Al-Din

The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced the return of (117) displaced persons from the camps of al-Khazer axis in Erbil Governorate, to their areas of original residence in Nineveh and Salah al-Din.

The ministry said in a press statement: "The displaced have returned to their areas in the city center of Mosul and Tal Afar district in Nineveh Governorate, and in al-Siniyah district and Tikrit district in Salah al-Din governorate, as part of the ministry's plan to end the displacement file in the country and in line with the government program."

The Minister of Immigration, Evan Faiq Jabro, confirmed, according to the statement: "The government pays special attention to the file of the voluntary return of the displaced to their areas, in addition to providing all facilities for them and the requirements for a decent life for the returning families," noting: "The field teams of the ministry's branches continue to register displaced families who wish voluntary return, in coordination with local governments.”
