13 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Airstrike on Khan Younis, Southern Gaza

Khan Younis: Thirteen Palestinians, including four children, were martyred, and several others injured in renewed Israeli occupation airstrikes that targeted the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza early Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that 11 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on a residential home in Khan Younis refugee camp, among them women, children, a father, and his two sons. In the Al-Mahatta area of Khan Younis, an infant girl was martyred, and several others injured in an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced people.

Additional injuries were reported following another strike that hit a tent for displaced persons in the Asdaa area northwest of the city. Meanwhile, a Palestinian woman was killed in an Israeli strike on a tent in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.

As of Thursday, the total number of casualties from the Israeli occupation’s ongoing operations since October 7, 2023, has risen to 52,418 martyrs and 118,091 injured. Since the resumption of the Israeli occupation offensive on March 18, an additional 2,326 people have been martyred and 6,050 injured, bringing the overall toll over the past 18 months to 170,509 killed and wounded.
