The Federal Police forces arrested (13) suspects in various legal cases in the governorates of Kirkuk and Dhi Qar. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "Within the ongoing security efforts made by the Federal Police forces with the support of the intelligence effort and aimed at establishing security and enforcing the rule of law, the detachments of the Twelfth Brigade, Third Division, were able to arrest (5) suspects in cases of (fraud, threat) in the Riyadh district and the village of Mansouriya in Kirkuk." It added: "The detachments of the Fourteenth Brigade, Fourth Division in Dhi Qar Governorate, in cooperation with the Shatrah District Police Department, executed a judicial order to arrest (8) defendants in accordance with the provisions of Articles (431/432 Threat).
