Seventeen Palestinians were martyred and others were injured Friday as a result of the Israeli occupation forces targeting and shelling a number of homes in different parts of the Gaza Strip. Medical sources announced that five Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in the latest Israeli shelling operations on the homes of Palestinian families, near the Al Shati' Supply Center west of Gaza City. The sources also said that four citizens were martyred in three separate Israeli shelling operations that targeted areas west of Beit Lahia, and near Zayed roundabout north of the Strip. Five women were also martyred as a result of the occupation targeting a residential house in Block 7 in Al Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, while a Palestinian citizen was martyred and several injuries occurred in another raid that targeted a residential house in the camp, and several injuries occurred in Israeli artillery shelling of a hall in the camp. Meanwhile, two young Palestinians were martyred as a result of their serious injuries a few days ago by the occupation forces' bullets west of the new camp, north of Nuseirat, and in the city of Rafah. In turn, the civil defense teams retrieved the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble of two houses that were previously subjected to Israeli shelling in the areas of Ma'an and Al-Manara, south of Khan Yunis. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced earlier Friday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 41,802 martyrs and 96,844 injuries since October 7.
