18 Palestinians Martyred, Others Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

Doha: Eighteen Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Sunday in airstrikes and bombardments carried out by the Israeli occupation forces across various parts of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that seven Palestinians from one family, including a child, were martyred and several others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a tent sheltering displaced people in the Asda’a area, northwest of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Another Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained weeks ago in a strike on a tent in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city. The death toll from an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Baraka area south of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza rose to four martyrs, after earlier reports confirmed three deaths.

Al-Awda Hospital reported that six Palestinians were martyred and around 50 others injured as Israeli forces targeted civilians at an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza in the central part of the Strip.

In northern Gaza, three Palestinians were martyred and others injured when occupation forces targeted aid seekers in the Al-Sudaniya area in the northwest of the Strip. Several casualties were also reported after Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment in Al-Waleed Tower.

The total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 59,733 martyrs and 144,477 injured.
