Ankara, Turkish authorities today apprehended 25 irregular migrants in the Mugla Province, south-west of Turkiye. In a statement, the Turkish Coast Guard Command said that the migrants were on board an inflatable boat headed for Europe illegally. The irregular migrants were transferred to the immigration department for legal procedures. The Bulgarian-Turkish-Greek borders are experiencing an increase in irregular migrant figures, as more people are taking the journey via either the land or sea routes on the hopes of ending up in a European country.
