33rd Arab Summit/ President of Egypt Affirms Rejection to Liquidation of Palestinian Cause

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Thursday affirmed his country's position rejecting the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, saying that the Israeli war against the Palestinian people can go on one of two paths; peace and stability, or chaos and destruction that the ongoing escalation will lead to. During the 33rd regular session of the Arab Summit held in Manama today, Al-Sisi said that the rights of the Palestinian children who were killed and are being killed will continue to be as a sword drawn over the conscience of humanity until justice is enforced through international law. He pointed out that his country is engaged in serious attempts to save the region from falling into chaos. Al-Sisi also said that the Israeli entity continues to evade reaching a ceasefire agreement, continues its military operation in Rafah, and uses the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side to tighten the siege on the Gaza Strip. He stressed that Egypt will maintain its firm position of rejecting the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, the displacement of Palestinians, or the creation of conditions that make life in the Gaza Strip impossible and evacuate Palestine of its people, saying in this context, that whoever that military solutions are capable of securing interests or achieving security is delusional. The Egyptian President warned the international community that the world's nations confidence in justice is shaken, stressing that justice must not be divided. President Al-Sisi also stressed that the lives of the Palestinians are no less important than the lives of others, and that the Palestinians have the right to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders.
