The Military Intelligence Directorate arrested (38) persons accused of various legal articles, including terrorism in Baghdad, Anbar, Basra and Maysan.
The Directorate stated in a statement that with various and separate duties and distinguished intelligence efforts, and according to accurate information from the Divisions of the Basra and Maysan Operations Command, and the 7th, 10th, and 17th divisions of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and in cooperation with the security forces holding the land, tight ambushes were set up in separate areas of the same governorates, which resulted in the arrest of (3) suspects accused of terrorism in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law in the districts of Fallujah and Abu Ghraib, and (35) accused of various legal articles in the districts of Mahmoudiya, Al-Qaim, Abu Al-Khasib, Al-Majar Al-Kabeer, Al-Deir, Al-Ramadi, Al-Habbaniyah district, Al-Sharsh and Al-Nashwah districts, and they were handed over to the request authorities.
