An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck Fiji on Monday.
The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 297 km east of Levuka, at a depth of 516.8 km.
There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquake so far.
On March 27, an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck Fiji Islands in the South Pacific Ocean.
Fiji is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it exposed to many tremors and aftershocks that may be strong at times.
