Gaza City: Four Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that two Palestinians were martyred, and several were injured after occupation warplanes targeted a house in the Zaitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Another Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli airstrike near the Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Civil Defense in Gaza announced that one of its members was martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting his home in the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, bringing the number of Civil Defense casualties in the renewed Israeli aggression to 103.
In the southern Gaza Strip, several Palestinians were injured in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the town of Abasan al-Jadida, east of Khan Yunis, and another shelling targeted the Shaboura camp in Rafah.
Dr. Marwan Al Hams, director of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, announced that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn Tuesday has surged to over 460 martyrs, with hundreds more wounded. More than 80 women were martyred as a result of the recent Israeli actions, he added.
The Israeli entity resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday, following a two-month pause under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19. The Israeli occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the two months, continuing to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, causing martyrs and wounded. It also tightened its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
