Detachments of the intelligence agency responsible for combating terrorism in Nineveh arrested four wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of Article /4 of the fight against terrorism law in one of the areas of Nineveh Governorate.
The agency stated in a statement, “An intelligence work team was formed to collect information and conduct the necessary investigations, and with a tight ambush, the four wanted defendants were arrested, who confessed during the investigation to their belonging to ISIS gangs within the so-called (Al-Yamamah Division, Diwan Al-Jund, Dijlah State, and the public camps), and they were paid sums of money in return for this, so their statements were recorded and they were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for their appearance before the judiciary to receive their punishment.”
