Doha: An earthquake of 5.1-magnitude struck the city of Iranshahr in southeastern Iran on Monday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 28 kilometers. There were no immediate reports on possible casualties.
The institute also said that an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale occurred at a depth of 28 kilometers in Iranshahr.
