Tulkarm - Ma'an - The number of martyrs in the town of Deir Al-Ghusoun, north of Tulkarm, has risen to 5, according to security sources. Security sources confirmed today, Saturday, that the Israeli occupation army detained the bodies of four martyrs, who were buried inside the targeted house in the town, according to what they were informed of, without knowing the identity of the martyrs. Immediately after the occupation forces withdrew from the town this afternoon, Red Crescent crews recovered a martyr from under the rubble, and he was transferred to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm, without knowing his identity, bringing the number of martyrs in the town to six. The occupation bulldozer had recovered the body of a martyr, at dawn on Saturday, while demolishing the besieged house in the town, without knowing his identity yet. It threw him on the ground and prevented the ambulance from reaching him. Immediately after the occupation forces withdrew from the town after storming for more than 13 hours, citizens, ambulances, civil defense crews, and the municipality rushed to the destroyed house, and began removing the rubble and searching for injured or martyrs still under the rubble. A video clip on social media showed the occupation forces shooting at two young men while they were trying to get out from under the rubble of the demolished house, which led to their death, without knowing their identities. Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation soldiers initially kidnapped the body of a martyr after abusing him and firing smoke bombs at the place of his martyrdom, while heavy bullets were fired at anyone approaching the place. The house consists of two floors and belongs to the family of the citizen Bashir Badran, who died years ago, and is inhabited by his two sons, the father of the martyr Fawaz Badran, who was martyred in 2001. The occupation forces also arrested the owner of the house, Salama Bashir Badran, a former prisoner, after he emerged from under the rubble. They tied hi m up, subjected him to investigation and interrogation, and took him to an unknown destination. Our correspondent reported that the occupation bulldozers began demolishing the house at dawn today, Saturday, after four hours of intense siege, and bulldozing its external walls and some roads in its vicinity. An Israeli special force, "Musta'arabiun", infiltrated the town of Deir al-Ghusun in the early hours of dawn, and surrounded the house after storming it, before sending in large military reinforcements, accompanied by huge bulldozers. The occupation forces imposed a tight military cordon around the house, and deployed snipers on the roofs of high-rise buildings in the place, before targeting it with a barrage of bullets and dozens of 'Energa' shells, which caused a power outage in the vicinity of the place. The occupation forces bulldozed trees and the walls of homes adjacent to the besieged house, and destroyed a number of citizens' vehicles and infrastructure on the roads adjacent to it, amid an inten se flight of reconnaissance aircraft. The occupation forces claim that young men barricaded themselves inside the house, accusing them of carrying out a shooting attack last November at the entrance to the village of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm, which led to the death of a soldier. At the same time, the occupation forces fired sound bombs and tear gas towards a group of journalists, while they were in one of the buildings opposite the targeted house, and covering the events there, while the occupation sniper fired bullets at the Al-Arabi TV camera, but no injuries were reported. The national and Islamic forces in Tulkarm mourned the martyrs of the Deir al-Ghusun massacre, and announced a comprehensive strike tomorrow, Sunday, to mourn the souls of the martyrs. In parallel with its aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, the occupation forces and colonialists escalated their attacks against citizens and their property in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which resulted in the martyrdom of 491 ci tizens and the injury of more than 4,950 others.
