The week-long Israeli offensive in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza enclave, has resulted in over 581 martyrs, wounded and missing people. In a statement on Tuesday, Gaza government media office reported that the Israeli occupation soldiers pulled out from eastern towns and regions of Khan Younis after killing over 250 Palestinians and injuring 300, as well as 31 Palestinians who have disappeared throughout the 8-day of the relentless aggression. The statement added that the Israeli occupation army destroyed 31 houses on the heads of their residents, pounding dozens of houses and residential structures, partially destroying 320 houses, devastating the critical infrastructure east of Khan Younis, in addition to preventing rescue and relief personnel from saving the lives of dozens of the wounded Palestinians, as well as forcing tens of thousands of them to flee, amid a catastrophic humanitarian and health situation due to the intense and violent Israeli airstrikes. Additionally, the Israeli occupation army br utally massacred civilians and displaced people, in east of Khan Younis, as part of its crimes against humanity, evicting the Palestinians and reshaping the human geography in a way that endangers the lives of hundreds of thousands of the injured, patients, pregnant women, kids, elderly and persons with special needs and makes them perish. The Israeli occupation army intentionally bombards residential structures, neighborhoods and densely populated homes. Also, it commits massacres in multiple areas of the Gaza Strip to cause a substantial number of martyrs and wounded, at a time famine festers as a result of the constant blocking of humanitarian aid, as goods are running out in markets.
