8 Martyred in Israeli Airstrikes across Gaza

At least eight Palestinians were martyred and several others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes in various locations across the Gaza Strip at dawn Friday. The targeted areas included the Nuseirat and Maghazi refugee camps, in the central area of the Strip, as well as the towns of Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported. According to health sources, three Palestinians were martyred and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Nuseirat refugee camp. Two more lost their lives in a similar attack on homes in the Maghazi refugee camp. Meantime, local sources reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in three fatalities and several injuries. Additionally, a tent sheltering displaced people in the Shawahin area of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, was targeted by an Israeli airstrike, causing further casualties. The Israeli occupation military also continued its bombardment an d destruction of Rafah, in the farthest south of the enclave, demolishing several homes in the western part of the city. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 39,699 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, in addition to 91,722 injuries.
