The Chinese Seismological Center announced that an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred in the Tibet Autonomous Region, southwest of China. A statement issued by the center on Saturday said: 'The tremor was recorded at 13:44 local time in the Ngari area.'
