A British newspaper warns: “The godfathers of the Iraq war” will return during the upcoming elections

The British newspaper, York Press, issued today, Thursday, what it described as a "warning" against the return of the "godfathers of the Iraq war" once again to power in Britain through the upcoming elections, stressing the need for the British people to "warn" of their presence.

The newspaper said, "The opposition Labor Party recently announced its Cabinet formation for the upcoming British elections, and it appeared through the opposition party's cabinet lineup that there are several names that had a major role in passing the war on Iraq, which caused loss of lives and money, and its consequences are still continuing in the Kingdom until today".

It continued, "Those celebrating the formation of the next cabinet of the current party leader, Sir Keir Starmer, should remember that most of these personalities are described as 'Blairites', in reference to the Prime Minister during the invasion of Iraq, Tony Blair, while I warned that their assumption of power again would lead to ' “Undesirable consequences” for the United Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that the upcoming British elections, which will take place on the twenty-eighth of January 2025, have launched their battles recently, with the continuation of the political problems that the government of its current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak suffers from, the most important of which are the consequences of withdrawal from the European Union./ End
