The New Generation parliamentary bloc called on the officials of the federal and the Kurdistan Region authority to restore the rights of the people of Sinjar, which were uprooted by the most brutal organization in the world. The head of the bloc, MP Sarwa Abdul Wahid, said in a press statement today, Saturday, "Those who surrendered Sinjar and left its people, today shed crocodile tears and remember the genocide of the Yazidis, and the reality is that those who left their weapons and did not defend women, youth and the elderly are the ones who should be tried." She added, "The third of August is a day that our memory will not forget, when women were taken captive and the Yazidis were killed en masse and they found no supporter and everyone abandoned them."
