Detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate in Baghdad arrested an accused of forging official documents.
A statement by the Anti-Crime Directorate stated: "The suspect was arrested after information was received by the New Baghdad office, and after investigation and information collection."
The statement added: "The statements of the accused were recorded in the preliminary and judicial confession, and the investigating judge decided to detain him in accordance with the provisions of Article 298 of the Penal Code."
