A Specialized Turkish Medical Team Heads To Gaza With Quantities Of Medicine

Istanbul A Turkish presidential plane took off from Ankara heading to Egypt today, Sunday, carrying a specialized Turkish medical staff accompanied by quantities of medicines to support relief efforts for the injured and wounded in the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish health team, which includes 20 doctors specialized in first aid and surgical operations, in addition to assistant medical staff, will build a field hospital at Al-Arish Airport and another at Rafah border crossing, in coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

The Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, had announced through his account on the “X” platform that the first planes would take off from Ankara to Egypt to transport aid to Gaza, and that they were loaded with medicines and medical supplies, with 20 specialized doctors on board.
