The Basra Governorate Police Command announced its detachments controlled an armed clan conflict in Karma Ali, Abi Sakhir area.
The command stated in a statement, "After receiving news from the central control about an armed quarrel, the provincial police command's detachments mobilized, in conjunction with the Basra Operations Command to impose a cordon, conduct a series of raids, search the homes of the perpetrators, resolve the armed conflict, arrest accused parties to the conflict and seize weapons and materiel. "
It added, "Legal measures have been taken against them and referred to the judiciary, so that they serve as an example to anyone who tries to stir up strife and conflicts in the province."
