Abdullahian warns: The region has become a powder keg that may explode at any moment

Baghdad - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed that the region has become a powder keg that may explode at any moment.

Abdullahian said from the Saudi city of Jeddah, where he attended an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation: “The region is going through very sensitive and dangerous conditions. The region has become like a powder keg that may explode at any moment. We hope that Israeli war crimes will stop.”

He pointed to "the Organization for Cooperation's agreement on the necessity of stopping Israeli aggression and crimes."

He expressed "the organization's criticism of Biden's visit to Israel and his meeting with a war criminal to support him, after the hospital in Gaza was targeted and more than a thousand Palestinians were killed."

Biden's statement allowing 20 containers of humanitarian aid to enter Gaza was considered a farce, given the great needs of the people of Gaza for this aid.

He stressed that Biden allowing the entry of 20 aid containers "comes to cover up his meeting with a war criminal."

Israeli media reported that Biden confirmed his support for Israel in the ground war on the Gaza Strip,

The Gaza Strip has been subjected to Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since the Hamas movement and other Palestinian factions launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7.
