Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Al Bishri, Advisor to the Minister of Education and Higher Education, revealed that about 97% of the administrative, academic staff have been vaccinated in various schools since last February and until now at the Qatar National Convention Center.
He added that about 70% of high school students were vaccinated until yesterday, pointing out that this came with full cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Public Health.
About the policy of excluding the student from attending the current exams, Mr. Al Bishri said that there are no exceptions to the exams, and that the only exception is in the event that the student is infected with COVID19 virus or has contact with an infected person, and the followed procedure is to present a medical certificate or a medical excuse from the Ministry of Health. Thus, the student will be compensated for attending the exams in the second round.
