Brussels: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, met with European Union Special Representative for the Gulf Region, Luigi Di Maio. The meeting, held in Brussels, centered on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and the European Union.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions encompassed a range of regional issues, including the situation in the Gaza Strip, occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, Yemen, and the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis. They also addressed the talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Luigi Di Maio expressed gratitude towards Qatar for its efforts in reuniting children with their families, highlighting its mediation role in addressing family separations resulting from the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
