Basra crude recorded weekly gains of more than 1%, after losses that lasted for four weeks in a row, with the fluctuation of global oil prices. Basra Heavy crude closed in its last session, yesterday, Friday, at an increase of 76 cents, reaching $81.28, and recorded weekly gains of $1.83, equivalent to 2.52%. Basra Intermediate crude also closed in its last session, at an increase of 76 cents, reaching $86.43, and also recorded weekly gains amounting to $1.28, equivalent to 1.87%.. The performance of the two standard crude oils varied during the week, as Brent suffered a loss of about 17 cents, while American crude rose by about 15 cents. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
