Agriculture signs agreements to export agricultural products from the West Bank to Jordan

Ramallah Ma'an - The Palestinian and Jordanian Ministries of Agriculture signed an agreement to export Palestinian agricultural products to Jordan. The agreement was concluded between the Jordanian Palestinian Company and the Fresh Fruits Company to market avocado products in Jordanian markets for the current agricultural season. The Ministry of Agriculture said that the agreement came within the framework of the Jordanian-Palestinian company's efforts to open new export avenues for Palestinian agricultural products in foreign markets. Today, under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizq Salimiya, and the Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Khaled Hneifat, In turn, Minister Salimiya pointed out that this agreement is a true translation of the efforts of the current Palestinian government and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to enhance trade exchange between the two brotherly countries, as well as to open organized and sustainable marketing opportunities for Pal estinian farmers. This agreement with Fresh Fruits Company is a promising start as it is one of the distinguished companies specialized in importing and marketing agricultural products in the Jordanian market. It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian-Palestinian company recently signed a similar agreement with Qalqilya farmers to export 1,000 tons of avocado, guava and other fruits.
