Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, received Jesper Moller Sorensen, Danish Acting Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and State Secretary for Foreign Policy, during his official visit to the UAE yesterday.

Sorensen extended his sincere condolences on the passing of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Al Nahyan family and the UAE people. He also congratulated His Excellency on the election of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as UAE President, wishing him continued success in leading the country towards a new phase of prosperity.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen ties and cooperation between both countries in areas of mutual interest, focusing on the economy, trade, humanitarian efforts and investment sectors.
