Amman-Qatar's Ahmed Khalil Al-Mohannadi qualified to semifinals of 2022 West Asian Table Tennis Championship in Amman, Jordan on Saturday.
Al-Mohannadi defeated Iraq's Mohamed Taher 3-2 in the quarterfinals. He also secured his spot in the 2022 Asian Table Tennis Championship to be held in Thailand.
On the other hand, Qatar's Khalid Al Yafei and Yousef Ali qualified to the final match of doubles event for boys under 17 years after beating Lebanon's Thio Wasim and Riyad Mawlawi.
Moreover, Maryam Ali and Showq Saad cruised to the final of doubles event for girls under 17 years.
The championship brings together, hosts Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq.
