The head of Al-Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office, today, Thursday, the British Ambassador to Baghdad, Stephen Hitchen.

According to a statement by Al-Abadi’s office, the meeting witnessed a review of the overall situation on the internal and external arenas, the situation in the region, and the outstanding problems and many challenges facing the government and addressing them.

Al-Abadi stressed that a strong, recovering Iraq represents a source of strength for the region and a state of great stability, especially since it made great strides in this regard after the victory over ISIS.

For his part, the British Ambassador praised Al-Abadi's leadership during his tenure as Prime Minister, which was a critical and dangerous period in Iraq's history, but he achieved great successes.
