The head of al-Nasr Coalition, Haider Al-Abadi, discussed with the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, and her accompanying delegation, strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Abadi's media office stated: "The two sides discussed developments in the political, security and economic conditions, strengthening cooperation between the two countries, and the vision of the Iraqi government in its dealings with the countries of the region and the international community through openness and intertwining of economic interests."

According to the statement, the two sides stressed the importance of supporting the current government in its reform program, fighting corruption, and providing services to citizens, while approving the country's financial budget.
