Al Araby TV will next month launch its second channel, Al Araby 2, according to a press statement issued by the media group on Monday. Al Araby 2, which will begin broadcasting from Doha on 2 January, aims to be “a diverse entertainment and culture channel” targeted at younger people and suitable for family audiences, the statement read. “Al Araby 2 seeks to provide distinctive cultural content to suit the diversity of tastes across the Arab world,” Al Araby TV said in a statement.
