Cairo: The Arab League's (AL) General Secretariat asserted the importance of the historic role of the museums in cultural educational development. In a statement on Saturday on International Museum Day, the general secretariat said that the AL has paid attention, since its establishment, to protecting the Arab cultural heritage, Middle News Agency (MENA) reported. The museums reflect the civilization and history of former generations to the next generations, said Abu Ghazaleh Haifa, the Arab League Assistant Secretary-General. Source: Bahrain News Agency
