The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed today, Tuesday, with a Jordanian parliamentary delegation, the political developments in Iraq and the region.

A statement by his media office stated that Al-Hakim received, today, Tuesday, a parliamentary delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, headed by Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Khalayleh, and discussed with him the files of relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and the political developments in Iraq and the region.

Al-Hakim praised, according to the statement, Jordan's pivotal role in regional and international files, stressing Iraq's desire to open up to everyone in a way that achieves its interests and the interests of the countries of the region, as the region possesses promising economic opportunities in the field of energy and others, calling for regional integration that enables the region to benefit from the bounties of its countries.

Regarding the Iraqi reality, al-Hakim said, "Iraq has made great strides towards stability and prosperity, after it was subjected to difficult labors and was able to overcome adversity and was recently able to make an important change by approving a budget for three years that will enable the government to provide services."

He made it clear that Iraq is living in a state of social harmony and security and political stability, reaffirming the importance of Iraq's stability for the stability of the region.
