The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed today, Saturday, that "Iraq is experiencing a state of security, political and social stability and popular satisfaction with the government and political forces." He said in a statement, "We met a group of sheikhs, gentlemen and dignitaries in Baghdad Diwan for the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Iraqi tribes, and we congratulated them on the birth of the Prophet and the birth of Imam Jaafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him." He added, "Iraq is experiencing a state of security, political and social stability and acceptable popular satisfaction with the government and political forces," indicating that "this gain is important for all the Iraqi people," calling for "adhering to this achievement and defending it and not returning to previous squares," while stressing "the treatment of mistakes and holding them to their owners without generalizing them with the necessity of resorting to the judiciary." Al-Hakim warned, according to the statement, of "agendas that try to exaggerate matters and deprive the sweetness of the achievement that has been made," warning against "attempts to generalize negatives and strike the political, executive, social, religious and tribal leaderships," indicating that "these titles are the country's constants and we said that this work is systematic and dangerous." He stressed, "preserving the unity of the country and adhering to internal harmony and mutual containment and staying away from the language of tension," calling for, "resolving the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives through an agreement between the honorable Sunni forces on an alternative figure," stressing, "the importance of adhering to the constitutional article that stipulates that Iraq cannot be a starting point or passage for threatening neighboring countries."
